Cowboy Technical Services Recording Rig was established in 2000 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn as the workshop-studio of Producer/Guitarist Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, Engineer/Producer Tim Hatfield and Engineer Greg Duffin. We put together a very comfortable place to record and mix music. In early 2009 we moved to South 5th Street and partnered with Producer/Enginner/Bassist Brad Albetta at Monkeyboy Studio.
We have assembled a great collection of recording gear and instruments, vintage and modern, analog and digital including Pro Tools HD, Digital Performer and Logic Studio. We also offer digital remote and location recording services with the Cowboy Technical Services Remote Rig.
We are set up in the “One Room Plus” configuration with 2 isolation rooms and 2 additional isolation cabinets.
